We are pleased to announce the launch of our upgraded Secure Block Storage (SBS) solution, designed to be ultra-fast, scalable, affordable, and resilient, giving peace of mind.
The latest version of our Secure Block Storage provides high-performance with automatic encryption at affordable prices. Built with 100% NVMe SSDs, Atlantic.Net’s new SBS architecture delivers lightning-fast throughput and IOPS performance for mission-critical workloads, from complex databases to enterprise backups. The upgrade introduces up to 10,000 IOPS per volume and burst throughput of 450 MB/s, while offering seamless storage scaling from 10 GB to 16 TB per volume.
Secure Block Storage v2: Key Highlights
- Powered by Pure NVMe: Built entirely on high-speed NVMe SSDs, ensuring rapid data access and high throughput.
- Built for Uptime: 99.999% availability design minimizes the risk of downtime or data loss.
- Enhanced Security Architecture: Data is encrypted at rest and transmitted over isolated storage networks.
- Scale Without Limits: Expand volumes up to 16 terabytes, attach as many as 15 volumes per cloud server, resize volumes on the fly, and easily move between cloud servers within the same region.
- Local Performance, Cloud Flexibility: SBS volumes appear as locally attached block storage devices within each cloud server. Format and partition volumes for custom workload requirements.
- Streamlined Backup and Recovery: Integrated snapshot functionality makes it easy to protect and recover data.
- Strategic Availability: SBS v2 is launching in Atlantic.Net’s USA-EAST-1 region in Orlando, Florida. Additional regional rollouts planned.
