GAINESVILLE (April 6, 1998) — Atlantic.Net: Internet Connect Company, Inc. (ICC), has appointed Cary W. Brown to the position of Territory Sales Manager for the central Florida region. ICC’s central Florida territory includes Melbourne, Orlando, and the Tampa Bay area. Brown will be responsible for building sales and maintaining customer relationships with businesses in those areas. Prior to joining ICC, Brown was a senior account executive with ISDN-Net, an Internet service provider in Nashville, Tennessee.

The company also recently promoted Peter Wagener to the position of Facilities Engineer in the Gainesville network operations center. He will be in charge of procuring all telecommunications services and equipment for ICC’s 20-county service area and planning for expansion into new markets. Prior to his promotion, Wagener worked in the technical support department for the company’s dial-up Internet access service. He has been with ICC for two years.
