GAINESVILLE, Fla. (9/21/99) – Atlantic.Net, one of Florida’s leading Internet Service Providers, today introduced Webcare Solutions, a new service for day care facilities that enables parents to see their children from any Internet-connected computer any time of the day.

“Many parents are simply unable to drop by a child care center during the day,” said Jim Lamb, sales director at Atlantic.Net in Ft. Lauderdale. “Thanks to the Internet, we are now able to offer a service that allows parents to see their kids anytime they want without having to leave the office.”

As part of the Webcare Solutions package, Atlantic.Net installs and maintains a Web server and Web cameras at the day care facility, provides the facility with 24 hour dedicated Internet access to Atlantic.Net’s multi-homed network and develops and designs a password-protected Web site. Parents can then log on to the day care facility’s Web site at any time of the day to observe their children participating in daily activities from the angle of the Web cameras.
